Chinese Dolphins Near Tai O
Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at 16:07:24 This boat ride highlighted the problems with my technique. The boat had safety railings all the way around and the whales came up on the opposite side from me so I often got them in my shot. The whales surface quickly and sink - you loose half your time just trying to find them and focus. My camera isn't super fast (ISO or frame rate) so I didn't get much. Considering the boat trip is only a few dollars (but doesn't last more than 15 minutes), you get what you pay for. Species: Sousa chinensis (Chinese white dolphin, Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphin)
